We have a volunteer to type up the pages of the Shipmaster list.
Hello!
Shari just sent me a photo of the Shipmaster Association Directory from 1897. I am looking for a volunteer or two to transcribe the data for us to place on the site. There are about 6 or so pages with a bunch of names on. Pretty simple typing.
If you would like to volunteer please let me know. (email address is at the bottom of every page on the linkstothepast.com domain).
I can send a sample page if you want to know what it looks like.
WIRoots.org is undergoing a redo. That is my site I have for Wisconsin Genealogy. I will be further partnering with the WisNetwork.com and enhancing the resources on each county page.
If you have any Wisconsin links such as family tree links, resources, Genealogical Societies, Historical Societies or Musuems…anything of historical value that might be helpful to genealogists, please let me know and I will tell you how you can get the link added to the WisRoots.org.
Calling all photos, calling all photos!

For those of you not on a county rootsweb mailing list. The following came across all the county lists in the last day or so. I thought I would repeat it here. Some great resources are not available!
Dear Genealogists,
One of the most used reference books about the Badger State, the /Wisconsin Blue Book/ is a compilation of facts and figures pertaining to the government, people, industry, lifestyle and history of the State of Wisconsin. Here is an article I read about the LDS church and it’s efforts to digitize information. We can look forward to some nice additions to the online genealogy community.
