Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

I haven’t read it yet, but I am interesting in reading the new book in the Images of America Series by Frank Alioto entitled, Milwaukee’s Brady Street Neighborhood. It is 128 pg paperback.

There is a book signing at Regano’s Roman Coin (1004 E. Brady Street) on Monday, Feb. 4 from 5-7 pm.

If you aren’t able to make the book signing, you can order the book online through my bookstore.

Lena (Jindra) Hartigan

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

We are looking for information on Lena (Jindra) Hartigan. She is the youngest child of George and Mary (Krcmarik) Jindra. Her date of birth is after 1880. She was probably born in Wisconsin.

She is mentioned in her sister Anna’s obituary in April 1943 as living in Seattle Washington. Her brother Frank’s obituary in 1964 states that she is deceased. We do not know what her husband’s name is.
