I recently received an inquiry asking me if the Pewaukee Sanatorium was an insane asylum or a TB Hospital. Not knowing the answer, I started to do some research. I eventually discovered it was a TB Sanatorium.

In my research I discovered the state Tuberculosis hospital was located in Wales, Waukesha County.

I was also able to come up with a wealth of information on Tuberculosis Sanatoriums in the entire state of Wisconsin circa 1905-1919.
